About Troop 463

Welcome to Scouts BSA Troop 463, a Scouts BSA boys troop proudly serving Sandy Springs and the surrounding communities.

As one of the original Scout troops in the area, Troop 463 has a proud tradition of developing leaders through Scouting and has produced more than 265 Eagle Scouts over its decades of service.

We meet every Monday at 7:15 p.m. in Gailey Hall at Mount Vernon Presbyterian Church:

471 Mount Vernon Hwy NE
Sandy Springs, GA 30328

We welcome boys ages 11–17 from public, private, charter, and home schools. No prior Scouting experience is needed.

Our year-round, youth-led program includes camping, hiking, backpacking, high-adventure trips, community service, leadership opportunities, merit badge advancement, and plenty of fun. Along the way, Scouts build confidence, character, leadership skills, lifelong friendships, and a love of the outdoors.

If you're looking for a Scouting program for an elementary school-aged child, we'd be happy to help. We work closely with Cub Scout Pack 236, which serves families throughout the Sandy Springs area. Contact us, and we'll connect you with Pack 236 so your Scout can begin their Scouting journey.

Whether your goal is to earn the rank of Eagle Scout, develop leadership skills, or simply enjoy new adventures, Troop 463 offers an environment where every Scout can learn, grow, and thrive. We invite you to visit a meeting and experience what Scouting is all about.
